Background
Prior to the development of Skyeview Estate, this land was a part of the historic “Mountford” Estate, which was established in the 1830’s by George Palmer Ball. Today, Mountford is owned by the Mackinnon Family who have farmed the land with sheep and cattle, as well as wool production for over 175 years. Today, the family uses part of the estate to produce Driscoll Berries.
With the recent addition of the bypass and the growing population in the Perth region, the Mackinnon family and Mackinnon Estates is committed to supporting the growth of this historic town. Their vision now unfolds with Skyeview Estate, offering families the opportunity to build their forever homes and create lifelong memories in the flourishing community of Perth on the outskirts of Launceston.
